Our journey began with a simple goal: to provide safe, non-invasive care that supports animals’ natural ability to heal, relax, and thrive. MAKAYLIN SHOOP
Makaylin “Mak” Shoop brings years of experience in the equine industry and a lifelong dedication to animal care. She has shown successfully in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation at the rated level. In college she competed at the collegiate level while earning her degree in Business Management along with a minor in Equine Studies from Goucher College. After graduation, Mak went on to coach at the University of Lynchburg as a graduate assistant for the equestrian team while completing her MBA.
As a recognized USEF Professional, Mak upholds the highest standards of horsemanship and integrity in both her coaching and her wellness practice. This professional status reflects her commitment to advancing the equine industry while providing top-quality care to horses and their owners.
Now a certified MagnaWave PEMF and Red Light therapy practitioner, Mak combines her professional training with her hands-on animal experience to deliver sessions that are both knowledgeable and compassionate. She has seen firsthand the difference these modalities make, especially in her own older, retired horses who regained mobility, comfort, and quality of life. That experience fuels her passion for sharing these benefits with others.
